TEAOF Champions Mangrove Restoration at Junda Beach with Key Partners
On 20 September 2025, the East African Ocean Festival (TEAOF) launched a powerful community-driven effort to restore Tudor Creek, Mombasa. TEAOF, volunteers and partners came together to clean up the creek, collecting 600 KG of waste and plastics, and planted the first of thousands of mangroves. This marks the start of a weekly mission to plant 20,000 mangroves by December 2025, bold step toward protecting our marine ecosystem and empowering the community to take action for a greener, healthier coast.
