Ownership of Intellectual Property
All original content on the TEAOF Platforms, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, images, videos, audio clips, software, and any other materials created or commissioned by TEAOF, are the intellectual property of TEAOF and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other applicable intellectual property laws.
TEAOF also utilizes licensed stock images and other materials from third-party providers. These licensed materials are subject to the terms and conditions of their respective licenses and are not owned by TEAOF.
Permitted Use
You may access and use the content on TEAOF Platforms for personal, non-commercial purposes only. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, transmit, display, perform, publish, create derivative works from, or otherwise exploit any content, whether original or licensed, without the express prior written permission of TEAOF or the relevant copyright holder.
Trademarks
The “East African Ocean Festival” name, logo, and all related names, logos, product and service names, designs, and slogans are trademarks of TEAOF You may not use these trademarks without the prior written permission of TEAOF.
Copyright Infringement
TEAOF respects the intellectual property rights of others. If you believe that any content on our TEAOF Platforms infringes upon your copyright, please submit a written notice to us providing the following information:
- A description of the copyrighted work that you claim has been infringed.
- A description of where the material that you claim is infringing is located on the TEAOF Platforms.
- Your address, telephone number, and email address.
- A statement by you that you have a good faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement by you, made under penalty of perjury, that the above information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the copyright owner’s behalf.
Upon receipt of a valid notice of claimed infringement, TEAOF will promptly investigate the claim and, if appropriate, remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing material.
User-Generated Content
By submitting or posting any content on TEAOF Platforms, you grant TEAOF a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable, and fully sublicensable right to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, create derivative works from, distribute, and display such content throughout the world in any media.
You represent and warrant that you own or otherwise control all of the rights to the content that you post and that the content is accurate, does not violate this Policy or any applicable law, and will not cause injury to any person or entity.
Changes to this Policy
TEAOF reserves the right to modify or update this policy at any time without prior notice. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting on the TEAOF Platforms. Your continued use of the TEAOF Platforms after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new policy.
Governing Law
This policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Kenya.
